The Japan Rugby Football Union (JRFU) has decided to send two rugby coaches, Tatsuji UCHIYAMA (Head Coach of the Ryutsu Keizai University Rugby Football Club /JRFU Resource Coach) and Yuta NAKAGAWA (Coach of Waseda University Rugby Football Club/JRFU Resource Coach) to Indonesia for the promotion and development of Game of Rugby. The period of coaching in Indonesia is from March 21, 2013 to May 20, 2013.
In response
to the request from the Persatuan Rugby Union Indonesia and as a part of
the JRFU’s regional contribution activity for Asian rugby called “Asian
Scrum Project”, we have dispatched the JRFU qualified coaches to
Indonesia to develop local coaches and players and promote rugby.
“Asian
Scrum Project” is what the JRFU has been working on to promote and
develop Asian rugby and build a cooperation system between Asian
countries toward the Rugby World Cup 2019, the first-ever rugby world
cup held in Asia.
